Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese treatment designed to promote mind-body balance. At RMANJ our certified acupuncturists are thoroughly trained in this traditional approach with a particular emphasis on fertility and reproductive wellness. Fertility acupuncture treatments can increase the chances of pregnancy through natural, IVF, IUI, and other forms of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Acupuncture can increase fertility by reducing stress, increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs and balancing the endocrine system. In addition to traditional acupuncture, we also offer needle-free laser acupuncture based on the same principles.
In a large prospective randomized controlled study conducted at RMANJ, laser acupuncture treatment performed pre-and-post embryo transfer during an IVF cycle resulted in a significant improvement in implantation rates compared to traditional needle acupuncture.1

“For almost a decade I have exclusively practiced acupuncture focused on fertility and reproductive health. I have extensively studied medicine from both an Eastern and Western perspective and I feel that my experience and knowledge enables me to help patients to understand the treatment process and manage the stress that often comes along with their treatment.” – Marc Passmann, L.AC., SABORM
