About Your Care Getting Started For every patient at RMA, treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation conducted by our medical team. During your first appointment at one of our clinical centers, you will have an opportunity to discuss your medical history and your treatment plan with one of our doctors. In most cases, the doctor will also perform a complete physical examination including an ultrasound. Other diagnostic tests may also be initiated at this time depending on your medical history and examination. All patients will have an opportunity to review insurance and financial information with an RMA financial counselor. RMA participates in several health insurance plans and offers a number of financing options. Our financial counselors are available to provide assistance with insurance and answer any questions you may have about payment issues related to your treatment. Prior to scheduling an initial appointment with RMA, all patients must provide medical records specific to their care, as well as other written information. This allows our team to review the information before your visit so that we can make effective use of your time with us. Our scheduling team will explain these needs when you make arrangements for your first appointment.
