Michael J. Slowey, MD, FACOG

Dr. Slowey, a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, obstetrician and gynecologist, is the former Medical and Laboratory Director of the Fertility Center in Concord, NC. Prior to that position Dr. Slowey served as a physician in the United States Navy for ten years, four of which he served as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology Division at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. Dr. Slowey received all three of his degrees (B.S., MS, and M.D.) from the University of Tennessee. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Michael Reese Hospital/University of Illinois. Dr. Slowey has authored several publications and has lectured extensively. In 1995, he was honored with the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education from the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since joining RMA, Dr. Slowey has been listed in New York Magazine's list of the top 100 minimally invasive surgeons, as well as the Castle Connolly Guide of the Top Doctors in the New York Metro area.
