Male Infertility Diagnosis & Treatment 

Evaluation of the male partner is an essential component in determining the cause of infertility.  While there are men with medical problems or a history of surgery which can affect fertility, most men have no idea whether they are capable of fathering a child.  Semen analysis is an inexpensive, non invasive means of evaluating the sperm count and determining their ability to swim (motility).  Some men have more severe sperm factors which may hamper their ability to conceive and may require evaluation from a urologist.  In most cases, techniques of assisted reproduction can overcome even severe male factor issues.
