At RMANJ we understand that for some patients the path to pregnancy and a positive fertility experience sometimes requires a little help. With donor egg success rates among the highest in New Jersey and the US, the Ovatures Egg Donation Program anonymously provides potential egg donors the opportunity to help a couple build their family. It takes a special person to become an egg donor and requires a commitment of time, energy and compassion.
In 2012, Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ) established the Helping Heroes Build Families program to help New Jersey-based active duty United States Military Services personnel and their spouses realize the dream of parenthood.
RMANJ developed a unique, rapid and scientific method to improve the embryo selection process, called SelectCCS (comprehensive chromosome screening). This one-of-a-kind 24-chromosome screening platform identifies whether embryos are euploid (normal number of chromosomes or 46 with 23 obtained from each parent) or aneuploid (abnormal number of chromosomes). In 2013 RMANJ donated SelectCCS to the Foundation for Embryonic Competence (FEC), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving outcomes and advancing knowledge in the areas of research, diagnosis, and education. SelectCCS is owned and operated by the Foundation of Embryonic Competence.
