It’s no surprise, then, that RMANJ has been recognized as a Center of Nursing Excellence by The Executive Board of the Nurses’ Professional Group – American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Jordanna Lipschitz is the lead nurse at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. Originally from Canada, she spends most of her free time with her three boys.
Born and raised in Canada, Jordanna Lipschitz always had a love for the field of medicine. She also had the desire to help people and make a positive impact in people’s lives so she chose to be a nurse.
Lipschitz graduated with a degree in nursing from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. She began her nursing career in the oncology field before she learned about the field of reproductive endocrinology and inferitlity.
Shortly after moving to New Jersey, she joined the Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office, first as an REI Nurse, she now serves as the Lead Nurse. In her role, she assists in coordinating patient care and focuses on supporting the nursing team.
“I love building relationships with patients throughout their journey to becoming parents,” she recently said. “There’s no better feeling than supporting them through their treatment and challenges, then being able to celebrate with them at discharge.”
When she isn’t working, Lipschitz enjoys spending time with her three boys and fiting in an occasional good read.
Jennifer Reynaga is an IVF Nurse Coordinator at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. When she isn’t guiding patients through their fertility care, she enjoys being adventurous, traveling and spending time with her family.
Jennifer Reynaga decided to become a nurse to fulfill her desire to make an impact on others’ lives on a daily basis.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She immediately entered the field of infertility as a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility (REI) nurse. After working as an REI nurse for a while, Reynaga was given an opportunity to join Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, and she took it.
Reynaga is currently an IVF Nurse Coordinator in RMANJ’s Somerset office, where she supports patients through their fertility treatment.
“I love being a part of something as great as helping a couple achieve their biggest dream of becoming parents,” she said.
When she isn’t guiding patients through their fertility care, she enjoys being adventurous, traveling and spending time with her family.
Marya Slater is an IVF Nurse Coordinator Reproductive Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and seeing an occasional Broadway show.
Marya Slater earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in California and held a successful private psychotherapy practice in Manhattan, N.Y. Raised in a family of medical professionals, Slater decided that her true calling was to be a nurse, so she went back to school to pursue her nursing degree.
Slater graduated from New York University in Manhattan with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and entered the nursing field as a Cardiac Cauterization Lab nurse at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, N.Y. She first learned of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey after moving from NYC to New Jersey.
Shortly after, she knew she wanted to be a part of the life-altering work at RMANJ so she joined the team at our Somerset office as an IVF Nurse Coordinator.
“Helping patients realize their dream of starting a family is unparalleled,” she recently said.
When she isn’t guiding patients through their fertility care, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and seeing an occasional Broadway show.
Cathy Ovacz is an REI Nurse Coordinator in Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. When she isn’t coordinating patients’ treatment, she enjoys hiking with her dog, kayaking and gardening.
Cathy Ovacz was initially attracted to the diversity within the nursing field when she first started college. When she was given the opportunity to participate in a clinical rotation at a fertility clinic, she found reproductive medicine incredibly rewarding.
“Reproductive endocrinology and infertility nursing is my true passion,” she recently said.
Ovacz earned her associate’s degree in nursing and a Bachelor of Arts from The College of New Jersey in Ewing Township, N.J. Shortly after she began working at IVF New Jersey and then joined Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey in 2015 when the two companies merged. She later received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, N.J.
She is an REI Nurse Coordinator at RMANJ’s Somerset office where she helps patients navigate their fertility care. She enjoys building relationships with patients and watching their families grow.
When she isn’t working or studying, Ovacz is most likely outdoors hiking with her dog, Chico, kayaking or gardening.
Caroline Yelskiy is an IVF Nurse Coordinator at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. When she isn’t providing patient care, she enjoys exercising, baking and spending time with her family. [
Caroline Yelskiy was first exposed to the world of nursing when she shadowed a NICU nurse during high school. That experience impressed on her the important role a nurse has in patient care. From that point on, she knew she wanted to have a career in nursing.
Originally from Roanoke, Va., Yelskiy attended East Carolina University in North Carolina and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation she obtained a position as a NICU nurse first in Norfolk, Va., then Washington, D.C., and then moved to New York City where she met her husband. After getting married they decided to move to New Jersey to be closer to family.
With more than a decade of working in the NICU under her belt, Yelskiy decided that she wanted to have a hand in the fertility field. Soon after, she joined the team at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Somerset office. As an IVF Nurse Coordinator, she diligently works alongside her patients coordinating their treatment and ensuring that they receive the support needed.
“Forming a bond with patients through their journey is paramount,” she recently said, “It makes a difference that I can help put them at ease when they may be feeling overwhelmed.”
In addition to loving being able to tell patients they are pregnant, in her free time Yelskiy enjoys exercising and baking.
