RMANJ believes that nurses are a vital part of the comprehensive care experience, which is why our team is comprised of nurses whose passion for helping patients is matched only by their commitment to staying at the forefront of reproductive medicine. Our care team is focused on you and your fertility care needs.
It’s no surprise, then, that RMANJ has been recognized as a Center of Nursing Excellence by The Executive Board of the Nurses’ Professional Group – American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
Melissa Martinez is an IVF Nurse Coordinator at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Springfield office. When she isn’t coordinating her patient’s care, she can be found studying for her masters degree, traveling, snowboarding or spending time with her family.
Melissa Martinez followed in her mother’s footsteps when she chose to become a nurse. She spent part of her childhood witnessing her mother work as a nurse practitioner and without realizing it, Martinez aspired to be a nurse as well.
She graduated with her nursing degree from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. and immediately entered the field as a labor and delivery nurse before moving on to be a NICU nurse. After working in the hospital setting for several years, Martinez decided to join Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey. With her extensive background in women’s health, it was a seamless transition.
“I loved working in women’s health and with babies,” she recently said, “Now I love helping patients become parents.”
Martinez is an IVF Nurse Coordinator at RMANJ’s Springfield location where she assists patients through their fertility treatment. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. With what little free time she has she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, going to the beach and spending time with her family.

She always had an interest in reproductive medicine and wanted to be a part of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey.

Kaitlyn Batch-Monteforte is an REI Nurse Coordinator who works alongside the doctors in Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s Springfield office. When she isn’t coordinating a patient’s treatment, she can be found in her kitchen decorating cakes.
Kaitlyn Batch aspired to become a nurse from a very young age. After her brother was injured in a car accident as a child, she quietly watched his nurse care for him and her family during the difficult time.
“I just remember watching her and being in awe of how supportive she was to our family and how she personally cared for my brother,” she recently recalled, “I knew then that I wanted to be able to give that same care to other families.”
Batch-Monteforte obtained a degree in psychology from Monmouth University in New Jersey, and then immediately earned her bachelor’s in nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She entered the field as a NICU nurse before coming to RMANJ.
“I’ve always been interested in reproductive medicine,” she said, “And being able to work for an institution that provides the best care is a dream!”
