Can smoking affect my partner’s sperm count?

Sperm-countAbsolutely! Smoking can reduce the motility and count of a man’s sperm. This effect reduces the capability of sperm to swim and fertilize eggs. Not every man who smokes will have reduced motility, but many may be negatively affected by this bad habit. While there are many aspects of male fertility that are hard to fix, quitting smoking is an easy way to improve a man’s sperm count.
