Minimizing Healthcare Costs in IVF: Dr. Richard Scott on CBS New York with Dr. Max Gomez
Drs. Richard Scott & Max Gomez on maximizing IVF success rates and patient health while minimizing healthcare costs
Dr. Max Gomez from CBS in New York recently met with Dr. Richard T. Scott to discuss published data presented at the 69th Annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine Meeting in Boston, MA this week. Research done by Dr. Scott and his colleagues at RMANJ showed the downstream impact of multiple gestation. The financial cost associated with multiples is higher when considering multiple gestation delivery, NICU stay and additional complications associated with low birth weight. More importantly, using a combination of comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS) and single embryo transfer (SET) allows a safer path to taking home one healthy baby at a time.
Dr. Richard T. Scott, Jr. IVI-RMA CEO, a founding partner of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), a world renowned leader in reproductive medicine and cutting edge technology. Dr. Scott was also one of the pioneers of IVF and comprehensive chromosome screening.
