Success isn’t just getting you pregnant. At Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, success is a healthy pregnancy and delivery – and hopefully one healthy baby at a time though single embryo transfer and comprehensive chromosome screening in IVF.
On February 22, 2013, a panel of women’s healthcare experts convened to review the implications and impact of current standards of care in IVF; the current status of single embryo transfer (SET) for in vitro fertilization (IVF); the benefits of new technologies and procedures; and the potential of SET as the standard of care going forward. Hosted by Dr. Richard T. Scott Jr. from RMANJ, the meeting included key stakeholders in the field of infertility who provided their unique perspectives on the challenges and opportunities afforded by ongoing advances in IVF.
This white paper report summarizes highlights of their insights and recommendations, focusing on the ripple effects associated with one important decision: establishing single embryo transfer coupled with embryonic screening as the optimal path to one healthy baby at a time.
